The Boat You Want To Use, Not The One You Have To Clean

You bought the boat to be on the water, not to spend Saturday mornings scrubbing salt off it. But skip the wash for a few weeks and it shows: salt crust on the rails, bird droppings baked onto the deck, a green line at the waterline and a musty smell when you open the console. Then the day you finally have time to go out gets spent cleaning instead.

It also adds up in a less obvious way. Salt, grime and droppings left sitting on gelcoat speed up oxidation and staining. Boats that only get cleaned when they look bad tend to need compounding, stainless restoration or new upholstery years sooner than boats cleaned on a steady schedule.

How a maintenance plan works

A maintenance plan puts your boat on a fixed cleaning schedule, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, so it never gets far from clean. Each visit includes a full wash and rinse, salt removal from hardware, an interior wipe-down, and a quick check for early signs of trouble.

Protection work like waxing, stainless treatment, and vinyl conditioning is built into the plan on a rotating schedule, so the boat stays protected, not just clean.

Your boat is looked after by someone who knows it: where it stains first, which hatch collects water, and what’s changed since last time.

This is a cosmetic care plan. It doesn’t include engine, mechanical or electrical servicing.

Why Regular Care Matters More Here

In Tampa Bay there’s no off-season. Boats are used and exposed to sun, salt and humidity all year, so dirt and damage never get a winter break to slow down. Summer brings daily storms and heavy mildew pressure, and the busy spring and fall seasons mean more trips and more salt. Hurricane season adds its own cleanup needs after storms pass through.

A steady schedule is the most practical way to stay ahead of all of it. We adjust visit frequency and protection timing through the year to match the season and how you use the boat.
